  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Silver Accents‏

We're never one to shy away from shimmering details. Our style, along with fashion house Balmain, favors ornate detailing and a sparkling, glitzy aesthetic. One of my favorite runway shows that displayed this fun and flashy design is from their fall 2011 collection.

During one of our past events, we covered the stage with silvery mirrored details that lit up with every beam of light. The tablescapes glistened with a mix of sequins and swirling patterned linens. Warm purple andfuchsia florals added the perfect contrast against the coolness of the silver tabletops. This sterling display was definitely loved by all.

With metallic embellishments beingau courantadd some silver accents to your next outfit. And if you're planning an upcoming event, we'll show you how to sparkle.

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Turquoise Tablescapes‏

Gucci's spring 2013 collection was a vivid display of cheerful color. I was particularly draw to the beautiful bold blues. The ruffled cobalt and turquoise garments looked like ocean waves rolling down the runway. For a recent event, we draped our tables in linens that combined those dark and light blue shades.

When planning an event, embrace that dazzling turquoise color. Or in this case, a fabulous turquoise Gucci dress!

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Blushing Beauty

Every event gives us an opportunity to dream, and why not dream in fashion? Coco Chanel once said, "Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." We couldn't agree more! With that, let's kick off our first Runway to Tabletop post.

Beautiful blush gowns with ruffles and crystal detailing have been gracing the runways for the past several seasons. We were so influenced by these luscious layers of light pink that we had to incorporate them into a recent event. White drapes with light pink backlighting created a lovely glowing blush tone while tall vases filled with branches, lights, and crystals added to the effect. With all the oversized September issues rolling into our office (Vogue tops out at 665 pages) you can be sure there's plenty of fashionable inspiration to come.
