    wedding arrival

Last week we talked about wedding trends for the new year.  Couples are looking for more unique and exciting ways to arrive (or depart) at their weddings, which got us thinking...

What about those couples who are thinking outside-the-box when taking the plunge?  Literally?!

How about a daredevil couple who parachutes into their ceremony.   Other over-the-top options include horses, ski lifts, or helicopters, and even the occasional elephant.  A memorable entrance is something any bride would love to make but you’re usually given few options.  So if you are looking to make your arrival or departure as amazing as you are, then we can help!

Let us customize your day to fit any dream... parachute optional.

  • National Waffle Day is coming...

National Waffle Day might be Monday, but who can wait till then?  We have two amazing places in OKC that specialize in this breakfast delicacy.  First up is Waffle Champion in Midtown.  With 2 kinds of waffles you can order 11 different ways, you'll never get tired of trying out their delicious menu.  If you find yourself north of the city make sure to stop by Café Evoke in Edmond.  They serve waffles until 2 so it's perfect for those of us who aren't morning people.  Don't forget to try one of their creamy cappuccinos.  It's one of the best coffee shops in the metro!

Have a great weekend and an even better brunch.  Cheers to the weekend!

  • Engagements ~ Emily and Matthew

Emily and Matthew were married at All Souls Episcopal Church this January. These two are a perfect match and complement each other so well. Much like their personalities, the wedding day was a delicate balance of special details, creating a classic design that mirrored the couple’s style.

Understated elegance – that’s how I would describe the reception at Gaillardia Country Club. I was so inspired by Emily’s gorgeous lace wedding dress and its timeless sophistication; her classic taste spilled over into every aspect of the wedding day. Simple details like champagne linens and romantic lighting crafted an impactful setting. A custom designed stage nestled in the archway of the ballroom with plush white draping created the look of a proscenium. Guests danced the night away, and sent the beautiful couple off into the evening with a sparkler farewell.

It was a magical day, and I wish the happy couple so much happiness in the years ahead!
