  • Pretty in Pink ~

    rose quartz inspiration collage

When planning for upcoming designs you have to look everywhere for inspiration.  We're absolutely loving the new Pantone colors for 2016 and can't wait to start styling!  While serenity blue is beautiful too, we're focusing on the perfectly pink rose quartz.  This girly shade is classic, feminine, and oh so glamorous.  We're thinking this is going to be a huge trend when it comes to weddings this year... just saying.

  • Wedding Wednesday ~ White on White

    all white wedding design

Last Friday, we showed a preview of this amazing shoot which we were so happy to be a part of.  While we're always a big fan of color, this all white palette is pure perfection.  When only one color is used texture becomes a crucial element.  Our millwork panels, tufted seating, and flower wall filled the void and added just the right amount of contrast to this singular white motif.

You can see more photos in the Brides of Oklahoma Magazine and we must give a big thank you to all of the amazing vendors who helped create this modern and fresh look!

  • Wedding Wednesday ~ Wedding Trends for 2016

    wedding trends for 2016

With the new year, comes new wedding trends.  We had so many amazing events this year and we can't wait to see what's ahead in the New Year.  It looks like for 2016, these will be the trends that you'll be seeing the most...

    Clockwise from the top left:

Creative seating selections, lighting in all shapes and sizes, non-floral centerpieces, food and drink pairings, fresh out of the garden floral arrangements, hand-painted wedding cakes, naked wedding cakes (goodbye fondant) and it looks like metallic is here to stay.

Which trends are you looking forward to seeing?

    wedding bride groom carriage ride

On June 20 of 2015, Mark and Ivy were married at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens in the Fuller Garden. Blush floral baskets were hanging from the gazebo, a wonderful touch since Ivy’s accent color was pink. She walked down the aisle wearing a custom designed gown fit for a Princess. The bridesmaids stood by her side wearing vintage-inspired black and pink dresses. Soft music from a live harpist played and Father Marlin of All Souls Episcopal Church officiated the Christian ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception at The Fort Worth Club. Ivy’s mother surprised her with a Rose’ Champagne Tower during Cocktail Hour. Specialty Décor and Lighting was brought in to enhance the already beautiful detailing of the Club. When doors opened to the Horizon room for dinner, guests enjoyed the splendor of gorgeous ivy and candelabra centerpieces. Ivy was also suspended from the chandeliers to create a truly magical effect.

After dinner, the Think Big Party Band played a mix of classic and new hits that kept the dance floor packed all night long. At the end of the night, the couple was whisked away in a horse drawn carriage. The weekend was truly fit for a king and queen, and we wish Mark and Ivy nothing but well wishes and happiness ahead!

  • A look at our weekend ~

    rustic chic wedding aisle

It's been a busy weekend here at the Eventures office, so we're starting off the week a little differently than normal.  Instead of doing a mood board, we're showing you an actual look of this wedding that we were so excited to be a part of.  Isn't this aisle just magic?

Just wait until you see the rest...
