  • Pretty in Pink ~

    rose quartz inspiration collage

When planning for upcoming designs you have to look everywhere for inspiration.  We're absolutely loving the new Pantone colors for 2016 and can't wait to start styling!  While serenity blue is beautiful too, we're focusing on the perfectly pink rose quartz.  This girly shade is classic, feminine, and oh so glamorous.  We're thinking this is going to be a huge trend when it comes to weddings this year... just saying.

  • Wedding Wednesday ~ White on White

    all white wedding design

Last Friday, we showed a preview of this amazing shoot which we were so happy to be a part of.  While we're always a big fan of color, this all white palette is pure perfection.  When only one color is used texture becomes a crucial element.  Our millwork panels, tufted seating, and flower wall filled the void and added just the right amount of contrast to this singular white motif.

You can see more photos in the Brides of Oklahoma Magazine and we must give a big thank you to all of the amazing vendors who helped create this modern and fresh look!

  • The Pantone color of the year is...

For the first time ever, Pantone has selected TWO tones as their color of the year.  The famous double duo is Rose Quartz and Serenity.  Separately they represent two different genders but combined they defy gender boundaries and embrace a fresh new take.  These colors are meant to give energy (like a quartz crystal) and a peaceful state (hence, the name 'serenity') to those who use it.  Together this color palette stands for equality, collaboration, and ease.

For us, we're excited to work with this fresh new hue and to see where it takes us.  What do you think of this exciting change Pantone has made?  Too fabulous, or too much?
