  • Silence is golden

There's always something fun going on behind the scenes in our offices.

We're always working on new ideas and getting inspired for future events.  Currently we're giving everything the golden touch in preparation for a special event.  While most of our plans tend to be top secret, once in a while we'll give a sneak peek.  Silence may be golden but if you follow us on Instagram you can get a glimpse of what we're up to in the shop.  Maybe you'll get inspired too for that dream party!

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ that shimmering detail

It's no surprise that our office loves a little shimmer.  We even have a Pinterest board dedicated to it!  So when we saw Naeem Khan's last collection during New York Fashion Week, we were completely in awe of his glistening gowns.  We were even more in love with the floral wall that was displayed in front of the catwalk.  It reminded us of OUR beautiful floral backdrop!  Great minds think alike, right?

Over the years, we've had our share of sparkling moments.  From our metallic linens, to our sequined backdrops, to our radiant lighting, we can create the perfect amount of glitz for any event.  Our Chloe Chameleon Chairs feature a sequined detail on the back that is the perfect way to add just that right amount of sparkle.

From our floral backdrop to our glimmering linens, we have the tools to design your dream event... with or without sparkles!

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Beautiful Bows

Cute and preppy are two perfect words to describe one of our favorite brands.  Kate Spade's designs are always filled with a dose of fun and a dash of humor.  Lately her 'beau bag' (get it?) has been spotted on all the hottest celebrities and fashionable style makers.

To create our own take on this chic status symbol, we designed the biggest bow we could imagine!  Our bow spanned a total of 19 feet in length and was the perfect accent to our white payette backdrop. To complement it, we draped the tables and chairs in colorful shades of green, pink, azul, and orange satin.  My favorite touch was our use of the napkins.  Each napkin was folded into an adorable bow tie to match our big centerpiece on stage!

Whether you're dressing a table or yourself, add a bit of prep to your step.  And if you need some help on the table part, give us a call!

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Lavender Draping

One of my favorite fashion trends is draping. When I wear a dress with that little extra bit of fabric, I feel like a classic Greek goddess. So after seeing these velvet lavender chairs by Chameleon Collection, I was completely in awe. They look like they were made by a couture designer!

These chairs immediately reminded me of the Elie Saab Couture dress Mila Kunis wore to the 2011 Oscars. It is probably one of my favorite dresses of all time, and we know that's saying a lot. Also couldn't this slinky 2009 Gucci dress be a twin with our chairs? They look like they were separated at birth! In addition to the draping lavender, it looks like metallic gold is the perfect match as shown on this model from Louise Goldin's Spring 2010 show. Good thing we paired our chairs with metallic gold pillows, after all we consider ourselves pretty fashionable.

  • Runway to Tabletop ~ Holograms

Holograms are hot for fall! This futuristic fabric has been seen all over the runways. Designer Michelle Smith of Milly ended her fall 2013 show with a bang by featuring a holographic sweater and skirt set. Street style photographer Lee Oliveira captured this fashionista using the glowing trend to update her basic black top. Of course, it wouldn't truly be a trend unless we mentioned Chanel. The design house created a holographic nail polish two years ago that is now sadly sold out.

Want to get in on the fun? Use this pattern to shake up your wardrobe and your party decor! Since this trend can be quite blinding, we mixed ours with solid and graphic print pillows. Are you brave enough to try this trend?
